Kings Island does not offer a non-rider admission as the park is one-price admission.

Admission tickets and Season Passes are non-refundable and non-exchangeable for any reason after the order transaction is complete through any transaction channel. This includes weather related events. We do notissue rain checks. Please check local weather conditions prior to planning your visit.

Children under the age of 3 do not require an admission ticket.

We encourage you to visit theGroup Sales Ticket sectionof this website to learn more about our programs. Feel free tosubmit a Group Sales Information requestor call us at 513.754.5700.

You can have your tickets printed at any Ticket Services Window, located to the left of the Front Gate. You will need to present your order confirmation number and a photo ID.

If you forget to bring your season pass, please proceed to any Ticket Services Window located at the Front Gate. With proper identification, a temporary pass will be issued. The temporary pass is only valid for that day. A nominal processing fee will be assessed to replace a lost or stolen season pass.

Some attractions may close in inclement weather until conditions permit safe operation. Please enjoy ameal or shopping until such weather passes. Kings Island does notissue rain checks or refunds for inclement weather.

No outside food, beverages or coolers are allowed to be brought into Kings Island or Soak City Water Park. Exceptions are made for Guests with special dietary needs to include food allergies and baby food and formula. Guests with special dietary needs should stop at Guest Services located at the Front Gate when they arrive at the Park.

If you wish to leave the park and return on the same day, please request a re-entry ticket at the Front Gate or Soak City exit. If you wish to leave the parking lot and re-enter, present your parking receipt to the attendant when you return. Passholders can re-enter by using their season pass card. Please be advised there is no re-entry after 6:00 PM during Halloween Haunt nights for both ticket holders and Passholders.

There are several ATMs located throughout the park for your convenience, including near the main entrance.

We are pleased to offer discounted tickets to active and retired members of the military and veterans on allpublic operating days. The discount offer is available online and is valid for up to six (6) family members. The discount may vary throughout the season.

A limited number of wheelchairs and electronic convenience vehicles (ECV) are available for rental at the Rental Center on the left just inside the Front Gate. However, since wheelchairs and ECVs are rented on a first-come, first-served basis, we urge guests to bring their own wheelchair. Please be advised that Kings Island's strollers, wheelchairs, and ECVs are not allowed to leave the park.

Only service animals are permitted in the park. Kings Island does not have pet care facilities on site.

Guests must be at least 21 years of age to purchase, possess or consume alcoholic beverages at Kings Island. Valid State issued identification or valid driver's license is required upon each person purchasing, possessing or consuming alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted to be brought into Kings Island from any outside source or in any type of container.

Kings Island is now cashless. All of our in-park locations only accept credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

No card? No problem! We have Cash-to-Card kiosks that can transfer cash to a card – no fees – which can be used anywhere, not just at the park.

For the convenience of all our guests, smoking of any kind, including vapor and e-cigarettes, is only permitted in the designated smoking areas outside the park's main entrance and Soak City Water Park's entrance.. Please refer to our map for the specific location. Smoking is not permitted inside Kings Island. Thank you for your cooperation.

During Halloween Haunt operating hours: For the convenience of all our guests, smoking of any kind, including vapor and e-cigarettes, is only permitted in the designated smoking area outside Kings Island Theater near the main park entrance. Please refer to our map for the specific location. Thank you for your cooperation.

Lockers are available for rent in different areas of the main park and in Soak City. The park is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Guests can enjoy regional favorites and name-brand choices like Skyline Chili, LaRosa's Pizza, Panda Express, Cinnabon, Graeter's Ice Cream and Starbucks. Traditional amusem*nt park favorites such as hamburgers, hotdogs, deli sandwiches, burritos, tacos, taco salads, BBQ chicken and ribs and smoked turkey legs. Kings Island is also famous for its blue ice cream!

Your admission to Kings Island includes all rides and attractions (excluding additional charge attractions), or events that require a separate admission.

Halloween Haunt is included with park admission to Kings Island. Re-Entry is not permitted after 6:00 PM for both ticket and passholders on Halloween Haunt nights.

WinterFest is included with park admission to Kings Island.

Guests are welcome to wear costumes and face paint during the Tricks and Treats event.If there is any question about a guest’s identity, the park reserves the right to ask that the face covering and/or face paint be removed.

Costume guidelines are as follows:

  • Costumes must be family-friendly
  • Costumes cannot be obstructive, offensive, objectionable, or violent in nature
    • Obscene language or graphics are not allowed
    • Clothing which, by nature, exposes excessive portions of the skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment are not allowed
    • No weapons
    • No sharp or pointed objects or materials that could accidentally strike other guests
    • Nothing overly gory
    • Proper attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times

The park reserves the right to deny admission to, or remove, any person wearing attire that is inappropriate or that could detract from the experience of other guests.

All drones (Unmanned Aerial Systems) are prohibited at (in) all Cedar Fair parks, including Kings Island, and any unauthorized drone(s) observed over Kings Island will be reported to the FAA and local law enforcement, regardless of its point of origin or operation. Drones may pose a potential safety risk and may violate Federal Aviation Administration guidelines. Unauthorized flight may result in revoked visitation privileges.

Rider Swap allows riders to enjoy the rides and supervise their children. After one rider has gone through the regular line and ridden the attraction, the supervising rider waiting with the children is then given immediate boarding upon providing their pass. For more information or to participate in the Rider Swap program, please visit the Information Center near the Front Gate, the Family Care Center near Planet Snoopy Ice Cream or Soak City Guest Services.

Kings Island offers a service to quickly reunite separated children and parents with cell phones. Please sign up for this service at Guest Services located at the front gate, the Information Center next to the Fast Lane booth, the Family Care Center near Planet Snoopy Ice Cream, or Soak City Water park Guest Services.

The safety of our guests and associates is our number one priority, and we have implemented several enhanced security procedures at all entrance gates. As part of the process:

  • Guests arriving at the park will go through metal detection.
  • All bags, purses, backpacks, waist packs, etc. are subject to search prior to entering.
  • Sharp objects (including pocket knives and metal chains), firearms, or other items that could be considered a weapon are strictly prohibited and should be left at home or secured in your vehicle.

We use a variety of methods in securing our parks including uniformed and plain clothes officers, and video surveillance monitoring.

Kings Island does not tolerate guests who fight and/or harass other guests while on our property. People who engage in this behaviorare subject to being ejected and potentially banned from the park, and may be subject to arrest by local police.

Due to the dynamic ride movement of many of Kings Island’s rides, your digital watch or mobile phone may activate its emergency call function. To prevent your device from making unintended 911 calls, please turn off your phone before riding, switch it to airplane mode or temporarily store it in a locker. For safety reasons, on-ride photography of any kind is prohibited on all ridesexceptthe Eiffel Tower and the Kings Island and Miami Valley Railroad. Due to the potential for water damage, White Water Canyon, Congo Falls and Charlie Brown's Rushing River Log Ride riders should leave their cameras and other valuable items with a non-rider or in a locker. Use of camera phones or any type of photography or video recording devices is prohibited in any rest room or Soak City changing area.

Guests taking pictures or video while riding willbe asked to leave the park with no refund given and may be cited with a misdemeanor under ORC 993.08.

We are strict and thorough in the steps we take and the processes we use to keep our properties safe and promote a healthy environment. To protect our guests and associates and prevent the spread of illness, we employ rigorous sanitation standards and robust cleaning procedures, including:

  • Extensive training for associates on maintaining a safe and hygienic workplace and environment for our guests;
  • Appropriate personal protective clothing and gear for associates who are assigned for cleaning duties;
  • Specified intervals for frequent cleaning and disinfection of targeted areas throughout the day;
  • Procedures for cleaning and disinfection of areas throughout the day and where illness has been suspected or reported;
  • Quick response to spills, trash and other situations;
  • Daily sanitation procedures, for everything from bathroom faucets and sinks to kitchen and dining surfaces, benches and trash cans;
  • Daily cleaning and “wash down” of outdoors locations, including walkways and queue lines;
  • Guest and associate first aid locations to assist with minor health issues.

We maintain close relationships with local, state, national, and international public health authorities, and take their guidance when additional preventive measures are needed.
